School of Global Leadership Bioenergy Major

The Bioenergy Major in the School of Global Leadership, Hankyong National University is designed to cultivate global professionals who will lead the future of sustainable energy and carbon neutrality. This interdisciplinary program integrates biological resources, environmental science, engineering, smart agriculture, and energy systems to address real-world challenges in climate change, renewable energy transition, and sustainable development. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical experience in areas such as biomass utilization, biofuels, biogas, carbon management, and smart greenhouse energy systems. The program is particularly tailored for international students, with a strong emphasis on English-based instruction, global collaboration, and field-oriented training. Through close cooperation with industry partners and international institutions, students are prepared to become job-ready professionals capable of working in diverse global energy and environmental sectors.
